So, your pulling your hair out trying to quit. Quitting smoking can sometimes feel like you really dont need this extra stress kicking the habit. The knack is, not to give up but dig deeper and in those moments when you feel like its useless will be the pay day. You know you want to quit because you wouldn't be here right now. You'll have your hopeless days, everyone who ever had to go through the pain of quitting has had them as well. Get over this nightmare and the rest will be sweet from here on out. nnSomething that sets quitting an addiction like smoking apart from most other forms of personnal ahchievment, is that you dont really ever get a final nod from the judges saying its come to an end.Let me give you an example Take the hundred yard dash, when we finish the race we know its over because we passed the finish line. Its the race over, we can relax, its over. Knocking ciggarettes on the head though, when is that officially finished? You hear the term, once a smoker always a smoker. nnWell, thats not really fair for someone who's given up for a decade to have that opinion put upon them. That is a real kick in the teeth that will only result in a set back. Talk about not seeing the wood for the trees. Thats the wrong way to go about it. Maybe if someone hasnt touched a cigarette in say,two years, I think maybe they can genuinly say they are officially a non smoker.nnIts the little slip ups that one truly has to watch out for though. Its the late night parties out with the friends at the clubs that are really going to let you find out what your made of. nnAnother thing to be aware of is people who talk too much about other peoples shortcomings. You usually find they have something they are not happy with about themselves. So, dont take too much notice of Mr self opinionated, learn to keep your own court. You'll win through. nnAt one point your going to have to ask yourself. Have I actually taken any steps towards quitting cigarettes? There exist seemingly limitless ways to go about it, discussion groups for instance. Take steps toward quitting, set yourself a small goal everyday. Make today the day that everything changes. Theres no need for you to feel like you dont stand a chance, thousands and thousands give up successfully year in year out. Dont give up and the results will happen, maybe not instantly but they will. nnThere is a massive community out there waiting for you with open arms. Why not make today the day that it all happens. Why not Keep your smokes in your pocket for that extra hour or so before you light up your next one, your smokes are in your pocket, dont worry, they will still be there. Try it, you'll be suprised at yourself. Just think, in a years time, you'll have more money, be healthier and have a longer life ahead of you.
