If you want to become a volunteer, there are a wide range of opportunities for you. You may become a hospital volunteer, a school volunteer or even an orphanage volunteer. nnDifferent volunteer organizations work from different perspectives. They have different agendas and work in different ways. They ask for the volunteers for childcare or other services. Usually they prefer enthusiastic volunteers within a fixed age limit. The orphanage organizations avoid volunteers having health problems. nnMostly, the organizations charge a fee from the overseas orphanage volunteers. Some of them charge the fees from every volunteer. The fees usually will include the cost of your food, housing, medical insurance, registration fees, written items and training costs. nnMajority of the voluntary organizations run short of fund, so it becomes a burden for them to bear the administrative costs of the volunteer. So despite a number of vacancies for the orphanage volunteer, very few of them turn up.nnVolunteer programs are conducted at the local, national as well as International level. These programs mainly focus on the basic requirement of the destitute children who are deprived of the basic necessities of life, food, clothing and shelter.nnThey organize day care centers or orphanages to offer these children with the basic necessities of life. These organizations also try to offer them with a family atmosphere.nnBY working as an orphanage volunteer you can easily offer you sense of love and care to these children. The voluntary organizations design several programs for the volunteers. nnThey providen• informal educationn• fun activities like games and arts and crafts.n• Implement reading activitiesn• knowledge for playing musicnThere are a number of young children who are interested in volunteer work. Some high schools organize programs for the students to work as orphanage volunteer as a part of their basic curriculum. nMany teen voluntary programs are coming up these days. Majority of the teens are interested in orphanage volunteering. In most of the cases the children are found to respond better to the teens. This is possibly because they are younger. The teens gain so much interest in child care that even if they are asked to read out a story to the child, they do that with extra care.nnThe world has grown so much materialistic that it is difficult to find teens who want to volunteer. However, teens have proved to be the best orphanage volunteers.n
