Pass The Job Test!

America is going through a Job test! So, what is a Job test one might ask? If you read your bible, you will meet a man named Job who was a righteous man but, in one night, he went from being very rich in both earthly and spiritual wealth to having nothing. Why, one might ask, would God allow a man to lose everything and that included his kids who all died and even his health was compromised but, he was faithful and righteous? Why for this just did not make sense?
The Bible says that God allowed this to happen to Job to show Satan what real faith looks like in a crisis? Real faith in God will trust him even though God allows loss for, real faith knows that God will replace that which was lost with much better things. Real faith is placed in that which is unseen and unknown and is always ready to be shown by God just how Almighty, Power, and Faithful He is. Real faith is teachable is times of crisis and perserveres and grows through storms, trials, and tests as Job's did. Now, don't get me wrong because Job did have his moments when he had to vent on God all of his confusion, fear, and pain but, yet, he refused to curse God and die. He would not give up on his God and was used by God to teach his friends about the faithfulness of God through all of his fear and confusion. Wow! The end result was that, after Job forgave his friends and prayed for them that God gave him double for his trouble and blessed him with more wealth than he had started with and with more children then he had lost and more faith then what he had started with. His relationship with God was better than what it had started out to be for he knew he could trust God completely because He was with him in his storm and, he brought him into it, through it, and got him over it!
So, will you pass your Job test and find yourself doubly blessed after the storm? Will your faith grow or die in the flames? I strongly urge you to study Job and learn from him about the Almighty Power of your God and His Faithfulness. He will not leave you nor abandon you and He will not fail for He is perfect love. Love believes all things, hopes all things, and never fails so, just know that if God is with you in the storm He will get you to the otherside just like He did Job. Pass the Job test!
