Within the space of an hour or less many us see and hear thenrealities of both pain and pleasure.

Encountering a friend and noticing the uplifting spirit theyndemonstrate causes us to feel cheerful ourselves.

And yet...

Turning around,
Leaving the office,
Picking up the phone,

Or hearing the daily news may reveal pain, heartache orndisillusionment experienced by those we know -- or those wencome to know even at a distance.

My day began with both: happiness and heartache: and allnwithin less than an hour.

Reflecting on my not-too-uncommon experience, I affirmed ournneed for "all things encouraging" dispersed throughout thenclusters of seconds, minutes and hours that give definitionnto the tapestries of our lives.

I offer the questions that follow as one or two minutenbursts of inspiration created to transport payloads ofnencouragement to you and those whose lives you choose tonenrich.

Ask yourself one or more of the questions...

While completing your things to do list for the day,
During the drive to pick up the kids,
When you review the day and plan for the next,

Or as you walk the dog, burn off the calories, make notes innyour journal, enjoy lunch with a friend, or spend time withnthe love of your life.

My hope is that in asking, you will receive.

May you receive good things because you gave good thingsnaway to others.

May you receive good things because you gave yourselfnquality decisions and actions as a part of the process.
