Question: Why have I been such a JERK magnet? How is it that such a warm, friendly, loving, giving woman has such a hard time finding a good man? I've been through my share of good and bad times. We all have. And according to my closest friends, mine haven't turned me into a bitch. I just wish I could find a guy more like I am. I don't like bars or church. I'm somewhere in the middle. So how can you hone your radar system? Try exploring each and every outlet that exists between bars and churches, and there are so many! The one thing I always encourage people to do is to pursue their passions. Doing so will allow your to engage in activities you like and at the same time allow yourself to be surrounded by people with similar interests. The types of men who frequent bars will be very different than those who sign up for a hiking trip, wine tasting course or symphony. Check out some of the social groups in your area and try enrolling in an upcoming event or course. When meeting new people, try giving men who are not your usual "type" a chance, it is one sure way of breaking a bad pattern and letting the love in.
