Another benefit of using these energy efficient bulbs is that you can save a great deal of energy and contribute to the environment by reducing high-level-nuclear waste and emission of sulphur oxide. If you had been using incandescent bulbs all this time and want to change to energy efficient light bulbs, you need not worry at all because these bulbs are easy to use and in fact the CFL bulbs fit easily into the sockets meant for standard lamps and hence you do not have to incur extra expenses for getting these sockets changed. The CFL bulbs emit equal amount of light as emitted by the ordinary incandescent bulbs, but consume less energy. Another advantage of using the CFL bulbs is that the light produced by them is warm and inviting because they use earth phosphors for colour and warmth, which is rare. At the same time, these bulbs do not flicker and cause irritation.
