Keep check of your diet and eat food containing less carbohydrate. Abstain from drinking, smoking and taking sleeping pills. Eating dairy products such as yoghurt, butter and milk before going to bed will cause snoring. Therefore, it is important to avoid taking dairy products just before you hop into bed. Allergies caused by pets and dust can also make you snore at nights. It is better to close windows while sleeping and just in case the air in your room gets dry then you can always opt in for a humidifier. Moreover, sleeping on low pillow blocks your air passages and causes snoring. It is a good idea to add an extra pillow and elevate your head which will clear your airways. Honey is also considered to be a very effective snoring remedy. Eating one teaspoon of honey before going to bed every night will help solve your problem. People having difficulty in breathing are more likely to snore at night. Their nasal passage gets blocked and they have the tendency to breathe by mouth during sleep. Using nasal drops helps clear nostrils and makes breathing by nose easy. These simple snoring remedies can help you cure your problem if you are really frustrated and disturbed by your snoring at nights. It is better to take action now.
