One game that is fun for the whole family is SPONTUNEOUS, the lyrical board game. It can bring back memories of old, classic songs to be taught to the young (And who knows, perhaps the young can teach newer songs to the older generations!) The game goes like this: when your turn comes, you are the "Tunesmith." Think of a song, pick a word from those lyrics, and write it down on your "Hit List." These are your "Trigger Words." Once everyone has their own Trigger Words, you, as the Tunesmith flips the 15-second timer, and announces a trigger word from your Hit List. The race is on as the other players try to be the first to sing as five-word portion of any song containing that Trigger Word. The first player to begin singing before the time expires gets to roll the dice and advance on the board. But beware! If the time runs out, you, the Tunesmith, must prove your musical knowledge by singing five words of a song containing that trigger word. Everyone gets their chance to be the Tunesmith, and it's anyone's game as you race around the board to be the first to complete the Spontuneous Challenge! SPONTUNEOUS is sure to be enjoyed by all.
