Stomach Flu, What Could Be More Romantic On Valentines Day?

What could be more romantic than taking care of those you love on Valentines day?
nYes, this was the case when my wife and my little one ended up with that stomach virus that has been going around. You know the one, often accompanied by diarrhea and vomit. We've been fortunate as of right now to not deal with vomit, however, the diarrhea did show up. Choosing to make the best out of the situatio I chose to take care of my loved ones and enjoy the process. I also decided to share with you and anyone else that may be affected by this bug, what I've done to support their health, in hopes it will support you as well.
nHere is what I did:
n1. To make sure they stayed hydrated, I simply made some chamomile tea (that you can pick up at any food store) and added just a pinch of Sea Salt. How much? Just enough that it wasn't too salty for their taste. My baby son didn't like it that way, so for him, I added some natural sweetner called stevia (my favorite brand is KAL) and he drank it like it was going out of style.
n2. Then I needed to make sure we did something to help their digestive system and get some nutrition in their bodies. They didn't seem to be wanting to eat much, understandably so. Therefore, I simply cleaned and boiled some organic carrots until they were very soft, then blended them to make a soup out of them. I made sure to include the water I used to boil them, to ensure I captured most of its nutritional value. My son ate this with ease, I think it had to do with the natural sweet taste of carrots, and my wife ate this soup throughout the day. I meant to add some bee pollen to the soup, but I didn't have any at the time, but I'm ordering some today.
n3. Now to support their immune system in fighting off that bug here is a list of supplements we used and they are helping tremendously.
n- n
- Activated charcoal - Has been used for at least 2,000 years and is well-known for its adsorptive ability. It is often used to support the body's cleansing and detoxification mechanisms as it helps bind toxins in the digestive tract. It may also help the body's efforts to expel intestinal gas. n
- Silver Shield - This is colloidal silver which provides a powerful support to the immune system. Is completely non-toxic, no heavy metal contamination. This product compares with herbal products like Golden Seal and VS-C. To top it off it tastes just like water to me, and it is really easy for my son to take. n
- VS-C - These herbs create a favorable environment for microbial balance and overall health, support detoxification and promote a healthy respiratory tract. Of course, in this case I'm using it primarily for its detoxification support. n
- Aloe Vera Juice - And I couldn't go without having them take what I consider another of God's gifts to this planet, aloe vera. It is truly an amazing plant. I gave this to my son & wife mixed with juice to nourishe their digestive and intestinal systems. To soothe the internal tissues of the digestive and intestinal tracts and provide another way to get their vitamins, minerals and other important nutrients into their body.
4. All of this was topped off with lots of rest and love.
nI trust you will not need these tools today, however, I felt it important to share it with you in the event that you find yourself in a similar situation. God bless.
