Once a smoker quits, the nicotine cravings kick in and it is these that draw an individual back to the habit. Alternative methods such as nicotine patches, sprays and gum could be used to deal with nicotine cravings. Several other products such as the electronic cigarette claims to offer an easy way to stop smoking. These work by providing a user with an inhaled dose of nicotine without any tobacco burning. WHO however, has little recognition over electronic cigarettes. Other ways of stop smoking have been listed down as smokeless tobacco, herbal cigarettes and drugs and medication to keep the user off cigarettes.
