The Basic Law of Mind Science - According to Your Faith, So Be it Unto You

The Law of Mind works in all areas of your life - health, happiness, love, success, prosperity, and money. There is no reason for anyone in the world (and you especially!) to experience a shortage in any of these areas. And the greatest book of Mind Science ever written is -- The Bible!. It is a book about your Mind. It is a book about you! Jesus stated the basic law of Mind Science thus, "According to your faith, so be it unto you." (Matthew 9:29) Your faith is what you believe about yourself. Therefore believe the truth about yourself. Believe your Divinity. Accept your Divine Sonship, "and all these [good] things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33) "What you see is what you get!"! The purpose of Mind Science is to teach one to know and think positively about himself, and thus, bring good to himself and others. Mind Science teaches man to build and maintain an image of himself in his mind ALREADY being, doing and having the good he desires. This ideal self-image in the mind inspires and motivates the one in whose mind it dwells, and commands the good which it mentally represents. The self-image leads to its own fulfillment. The truth of man (every man) is that he is the Son of God. "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32) You shall know the truth of who you are in God and who God is in you. This truth that we deal with in my ministry, is not a religious truth as such. It is not a dogmatic, doctrinal truth, it is the truth of you. It is the truth of each individual - the truth of all mankind. Once you accept the Presence and Power of God-in-you, you can travel the path of self-discovery. You can be entirely in control of your life. You can be the person you want to be, you can do what you want to do, and you can have what you want to have. "Know Thyself" Too many times, people go all the way through this experience of life and come to know so many different facts, but they never come to know their true identity. Rev. Ike usually says, "You don't know anything until you know yourself. When you know yourself, you'll know everybody you need to know and everything you need to know. All that you desire will come about." The puzzle of life and the truth of man have occupied man's thoughts for centuries. Over the door of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi in ancient Greece, these immortal words were inscribed: "Know Thyself." That is a big challenge, but self-discovery IS possible, and it can be done. It Is Your Responsibility It is your responsibility as an individual to discover your true identity. Today especially, so many people are searching for what they call their "true identity." Many times they give themselves an identity by accepting a label or "stamp" that someone else has put on them. It is rather popular, for example, for people who are monetarily poor to identify themselves by saying, "Well, I'm poor." But I'm telling you that if that is the identity you give yourself, you're in trouble. You must decide for yourself who you are and what you want out of life. You must not unquestioningly accept the label or stamp others give to you or that you have been programmed to believe. Not only do you have within yourself the God-power of self-discovery, you have the responsibility for self-discovery. And don't compromise on the good you want. Because when you start to travel up the path of self-discovery, you will begin the process of being, doing, and having all the good you desire in life.
