Bars are some of the best environments to pick up women. Of course, meeting women begins with knowing how to make a confident approach and "open" her in a clever way. Keep in mind that hot girls get approached by men constantly at bars, so you've got to make an original approach that distinguishes you from all the others. A lot of other guys want to learn

So right now, let me share with you some general tips to help you pick up girls in bars, clubs and other nightlife environments:
1. Don't leave home until you're feeling totally confident about your appearance. You certainly don't need to be tall and well-built to attract women, but you absolutely must be clean, well-dressed and most importantly well-groomed. One of the "Ten Mack Commandments" in the Mack Tactics book says that "The First 60 Seconds Are Everything," and this means your appearance must be on point -- because the girl you approach will immediately evaluate it. If you haven't updated your wardrobe in a long time, go to the mall and have one of the cute salesgirls help you pick out some new threads. Then, go to a proper hair salon (not a cheap barber shop) and get your hair styled. Make sure that you wear good cologne and not the cheap kind if you want to pick up girls at bars.
2. From the moment you want into the bar to start
approach hot girls, you should project confidence. Even if you're shy and nervous, you still need to pretend to be confident. Body language is extremely important; don't slouch, and keep your head held high. Make eye contact with women. Don't only try to interact with the hot girls you want to hook up with; start friendly interactions with other women as you "warm up" and get a feel for the crowd. Also keep in mind that most of the other guys in the bar are just as nervous as you -- if not more so -- when it comes to approaching girls and trying to start a conversation. Even if you're faking a good deal of your confidence at this point, you've going to have more success picking up girls than the guys who can't get a handle on their nervousness.
3. Picking up girls at bars means you might have to approach them. If you're a good-looking guy you may occasionally GET approached by women, but in most cases it's up to you to make the first move. Don't only try to target women who are alone; usually, women go out in groups, and approaching groups of women is not big deal when you've got some solid techniques. If she's alone, go up to her, smile, and use one of the openers I explain the "Mack Tactics" book. If she doesn't seem interested, don't bug her. And stop worrying about being "rejected," would you? Tell yourself that there are two types of women in this bar tonight: FUN and BORING. The fun girls will want to talk to you, because you're a fun guy; the boring girls won't want to, but they're boring anyway so who cares. When you're out at bars to pick up girls, this attitude is important to have. And when approaching girls who are in a group, be equally charming to all of them. Don't make it obvious which girl in the group is your target.
4. Next, when you approach a girl and start a conversation your tone of voice -- and the topics you discuss -- should be positive. Only talk about the positive things in your life and not the negative ones. She didn't spend all that time tonight perfecting her hair and makeup, and trying on five different outfits, so that she could come out tonight and talk about boring, depressing stuff. She's here to have fun! You simply need to be the guy who provides FUN in order to make her want to be with you.
5. Never be loud, aggressive or hostile towards other guys when you're out to pick up girls. Go ahead and have fun, but you don't want to be that annoying guy who gets on everybody's nerves. Don't drink anymore alcohol than you can handle. But when it comes to picking up girls in bars, you shouldn't let yourself become too drunk.
6. Observe and pay attention to the environment at all times. Listen to what girls say in bars and pay attention to everything that they do. When you identify a target (a girl you want to approach), don't rush in and approach the girl right away; spend a few minutes observing her and her body language. If you can hear what she's talking about (with her friends, or with the guy who approached her), you may hear something that you can bring up during your own conversation with her. So, slow down your pace and don't worry about "making your move" the moment you see an attractive girl. Think like a chess-player and always have your next several moves plotted out in your mind. Picking up girls requires some patience on your part.
