Silent as the grave goes thought.n Swift and sure it reaches alln Who then make of it what they willn Good or bad, great or smallnnJust as we live at the bottom of a sea of air, without which we could not survive, we also live in a sea of thought. As I write this article I am aware of the fact that billions of people arensending out thought waves, myself included. If we could see these thought waves the air would be thick with them. Like ripples on a pond, they start from a point and move outwards in all directions. There is a fundamental difference though. Whereas ripples on the pond move in one plane, thought waves move in all planes. If thought waves were torpedoes fired from a submarine, there would be no escape. Wherever wenare, they will find us. nnSo what, you may be thinking. Thoughts are harmless! They don't cut through flesh or explode! Nobody gets hurt! Unfortunately, this is not entirely factual. True, a thought is not like a bullet which kills instantly, but if we allow it to happen, it can have a long term affect on our health culminating in sickness and dis-ease.nnInterestingly, the origin of such hostile thoughts may not be our worst enemy, but ourselves. Who better to create a physical condition which would stop us from living healthy and satisfying lives? What incredible power we have. Just think about all the times you've been sick. You planned it, designed it, created it and finally executed it. It worked every time. You did it because a need arose. Your thought waves were guided by the circumstances of the present, but also by programming from the past.nnnThought waves have great power over us. They make or break situations. If our minds are attuned to the thought waves of others, we cannot fail to be influenced by them. If you've watched protest marches, whether real time or recorded, you can tell that each member of the group, hasgiven up their individuality, and melded with the collective thought processes. The many become as one. Each member is now assimilated with this thought machine and functions accordingly.nnnCommunities are such machines. They make demands upon the collective. If these demands are met, thencommunity runs smoothly and efficiently, because the assimilation is total. In reality, there are always some rebels and therefore some problems for communities. Thought waves create communities but also leaders. Thought waves brought Adolph Hitler to power. He did not usurp power in Germany, but was voted in by the people, who were subject to the thought waves of the collective at the time. They were free to choose not to vote for him. Their choice was influenced by the predominant thought waves, which in turn were, no doubt, ninfluenced by the circumstances of the moment.nnnYou may have, at some time in your life, joined groups such as societies, associations, political unions or religious sects. If so, consider the prevailing atmosphere at the meetings, and the concentration and intensity of thought energy that pervades the meeting room. Do you recall feeling exhilarated by its power and swept along on the emotional tide. The thought waves of the collective are configured as one entity andndirected towards the leader. Many people are happy to be assimilated in this way. Those who are not, have no alternative but to leave the group. Sometimes the dawn of realisation about such a group can take time to manifest. The choice is always with the individual.

I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,
