Quitting smoking using the emotional freedom tapping technique can be done with three easy steps. First, you must acknowledge that you have a smoking problem. Most smokers think that smoking is not a problem for them, but on the contrary, a relief to their problems. For example, if a person is tense or anxious because of an upcoming event or deadline to meet at work, he feels the need to smoke and usually smokes more than one cigarette to “help” them get rid of the unwanted feeling. Second, accept the fact that you need help with getting rid of the habit. If you deny that you need help, it will just worsen your condition for EFT doesn’t work that way. Third, learn to tap the right points to get rid of not just smoking, but other negative emotions you would want to remove from your system as well. Also there are training videos all over the internet so you could try learning it at the comfort of your own home. EFT is a great method to get rid of negative emotions and negative beliefs.
