The Holiday Season Is Upon Us Once Again

There are so many great things about this time of year. The Fall starts with some beautiful weather and relief from the summer heat and then before you know it, it is already Christmas season. The Christmas season seems to start earlier and earlier each year. The decorations started to appear prior to Halloween. Each and every year this causes me to become more and more disenchanted with the Christmas season. Each year there is less and less focus on Christ being born and more focus and attention on the latest Black Friday deals. I have been trying to think of things that I can do to put Christ back into Christmas. What things can I be doing to make sure my children and extended family understand the true meaning of this time of year. I am going to be focusing on my choices in gift giving. I will be sending out Christian Gifts to my family and friends. There are so many benefits to doing this. First of all, I am sending gifts that have some meaning and hold some real value and send a message. Secondly it gives me the opportunity to support businesses that sell Christian themed products. When you browse around the internet there are many very good quality Christian Book Stores such as Gift Of Grace Books that sell a wide range of Christian themed products such as , Christian T Shirts, Jewelry, music and other Christian Apparel. For the teens in my family I am purchasing Purity Rings . Purity Rings are a symbol of commitment with Christ that you will be obedient and stay pure. There are so many confused teens out there and these rings can often serve as a reminder of their values and promises made to the Lord. I would encourage everyone to be aware of the message they send in the way you behave during this time and how you choose to spend your time and money during this holiday season.
