With all the talk about online marketing, attraction marketing, whatever marketing, the important thing to remember is it is about getting permission. That is the ultimate goal, to get your prospect coming to you asking for what you have. Or, it is about you approaching your prospect and, again, having them ask you for what you have. Now traditionally in the MLM, Network Marketing business, it has been "Get the plan in front of as many people as possible, its a numbers game, some mud will stick. But the flaw there is the time spent trying to manipulate (or is that arm twisting) folks to get 30 minutes of time, is time you loose if they are not remotely interested. But let me ask you, if it took at most 30 seconds to have some one ask you to show them the plan and then no more than one minute to "show" it, would your numbers go up? You bet. Now please use the script below as a guide, work on how you could work the first question into casual conversation. The rest will just flow. Here it is... you start (knowing everyone likes to hear a story, it so non committal)... I got a good story takes about 2 minutes, might make you a lot of money, might not. Want to hear it? Sure. Would it be OK if you never had to go to work again? It would be fantastic! So, how much money would you need just to cover your take home pay so you would never have to go to work again? Two thousand dollars ***Now you need to figure out how many distributors/customer you would need using your MLM compensation plan to make that kind of money from the residual income steam (you told them to cover take home pay and walk away)*** Well, you know how ______ (what ever problem your product fixes, obesity is a growing problem, people are sue crazy, etc) and most people are struggling with ____ (continue in the theme of your product)? Well, I found a company called _____ (your company) that allows me to _____ (overcome the problem) and get paid to help others _____ (overcome an offshoot of the problem your product fixes). ***Here is where you use the numbers from you Network Marketing company's plan from above.*** Now, if you never want to go to work again and you want to earn an extra _________ per month, all you have to do is find _____ people wanting to ________ (how folks will benefit from using your product) Now, you might be thinking, "But I don't know how to get _____ people wanting to ________ (benefit from using your product)". But, here's the best part...You learned how to drive a car, right? You learned how to do your job, right? You learned how to be a (mom, a dad, a coach), right? So, you could CERTAINLY learn a system to get _____ people to ________ (benefit from using your product)! So, what's going to be easier? To continue to get up by the alarm clock, fight traffic to go to work until you are 65 or 70 years old OR, learn a system to get _____ people wanting ________ (benefit from using your product)? DECISION TIME. So, what would you like to know next?
