We all need clothes. Whether you agree or not, there can be few people in few places who can actually get by without a wardrobe of clothes, full or not.

In this day and age, our clothes play a massive role in shaping our identity and more to the point, our clothes shape the persona that we present to the public.

Whilst we may think that we pursue individuality when we shop, in reality, we are very easily led and boringly predictable. When it comes to women's clothing, most of the high street retailers would have you believe that there is an endless choice on offer when unfortunately, the opposite is true.

What the high street offers is a very small selection of styles and sizes, and because they all chase exactly the same next big thing in fashion, much of what's on offer is repeated up and down the high street.

For real variety and real choice, there is only one real alte
ative to the high street.: The Internet.

Not only does the Internet house the virtual stores of the high street, it also showcases some of the most innovative and exciting styles and trends of the day. If you want woman's clothing that can really reflect your personality and identity, then you're unlikely to find it in mainstream central, or the high street as I'd prefer to call it.

Woman's clothing has finally come of age on the Internet with a truly liberating number of designers and retailers who are able to offer more daring styles and design and dare I say, more realistic sizes to enable more of us to better define our identities and personalities through the clothes that we wear. Whether you're tall or short, narrow or wide, and whether you're comfortable with who you are and how you look there is a place you can finally shop that will tick all of your boxes, without the demands of a trip into town. Long live the Internet.
