Lately, I've been reevaluating social media sites. This post will share the reaso I became disillusioned with social media sites and the conclusio I drew after the reassessment. There are many advantages of using social media. You can stay in touch with friends and family, market, and stay on top of worldly trends like news trends. However, since social media sites are free social networking sites for chatting people use them to communicate toxic messages. Starting in 2016, social media sites became increasingly toxic. This led social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to ban former president Donald Trump and others from the site. There are many advantages of using Facebook. However, Facebook users are fed up with using Facebook for a variety of reasons. First, Facebook users type words that are interpreted as offensive. The result: Facebook bans them from the site and they don't know how to get out of Facebook Jail. To make matters worse, they don't know how long they'll be in Facebook Jail since the length of the ban varies. During the summer of 2020, Facebook was accused of prioritizing money for hate. In other words, they wouldn't remove hateful content. In addition, Facebook shut down conservative groups after the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election when Facebook finally did remove hateful content. Furthermore, Facebook users are still disillusioned that Facebook sold their data in 2018 and 2019. All these frustrations led Facebook users to flock to the MeWe social media site. MeWe has been around since 2012, but recently rebranded itself as the "anti-Facebook." More information about MeWe can be found in MeWe reviews. Millions of users flock to MeWe now each week, so many MeWe reviews are being published such as a recent review on Business Insider. I became disillusioned recently at the thought that we now have conservative social media sites vs liberal social media sites. I don't understand why we can't all use the same social media regardless of our political leanings. Social media should be fun and not political, I feel. Since I'm not a conservative, I avoided using MeWe for months. What is the solution? This is what I propose: We all use the same social media sites. If we want to share our political thoughts, do it in private groups. When we do go on social media, we should share good vibe quotes. For instance, on Facebook and Instagram, you can post you matter quotes which are inspirational quotes telling people "you matter." This will spread good cheer on social media instead of toxicity. Be sure to use hashtags like #InspirationalQuotes to people can find your content. In closing, this post shared the problem of disappointment with social media sites like Facebook. This post also shared solutions to the negativity: Ignore political leanings in your social media selections. Also, when you do go on social media, post inspirational quotes.
