While the network marketing industry can be a very profitable business, it is more than likely that you are struggling with an issue that affects so many marketers: you just can't seem to generate enough leads to get your MLM business off the ground! All of us have been there at one time, and we all know just how difficult it can be. You have this unbelievable opportunity, but you just can't seem to get anyone interested enough to take notice. I've learned these three "secrets" to MLM lead generation. I hesitate to use the word secret because I think it tends to get abused, but in this case, I'm going to make an exception. Become A Leader I'm going to say it one more time. Become a leader. Nobody wants to follow a follower. People want to follow leaders, so becoming a leader as quickly as possible should be high on your priority list! This has nothing to do with the number of sales you have, or how much money you make. This is about working on yourself and making yourself more valuable to others. It's about teaching and helping your prospects and your team. It is so essential that we work on ourselves as much, if not more, as we work on our business. This is a really critical concept that is unfortunately often overlooked, but it is something we have complete control over. The reality is that nothing is stopping us but us! Give Value To Your Prospects Let's be honest. No one really cares about how much money you are making. What they do care about is how you are going to help them reach their goals and have a successful business. We must always be providing value to our prospects and our team. I love this quote: "We must give without want before we can receive." This is precisely what we are talking about. This is an important concept to being successful at MLM lead generation. We must always be giving to our prospects and teaching. Spend at least 80% of your time giving and providing value, and save your selling for the other 20%. Don't Be Needy If there is one thing your prospects will see right through, it's neediness. There are so many people out there who are looking for what you have to offer, so there is no reason to be needy or to feel needy. You have the opportunity for them, not the other way around. Value your time and don't waste it by chasing people down to join your business. It's one thing to follow up with your prospects and be courteous, but quite another to turn into a "stalker" and try to get them to sign up! There are more prospects online than you may even realize, so maintain that attitude of abundance and you will be rewarded! There are a large amount of different factors surrounding MLM lead generation, but these three basic secrets are a good start. These three concepts will be the foundation upon which you will build, so that you can generate good quality leads for your MLM business. From there, the sky's the limit! You will be generating MLM business leads all day long!
