Through The Eyes Of Enlightenment

Hello my friends. I trust this New Year is greeting you with all things of love and light! It is a joy to share with you in this way!nnA question was posed to me: “What does enlightenment look like?” I found myself taking the word “look” extremely literal as I began to write this piece. As I sat with the energy around the question - the inspiration of this piece - I discovered that actual enlightenment doesn’t look like any ‘one’ thing. What we actually see is the outward manifestation of Enlightenment, for it will 'look,' be expressed and experienced differently for each of us. With this perspective, I felt inspired to explore further aspects of the qualities of Enlightenment and I offer you my heartfelt, Spirit lead reflection.nnFor many, there is a disconnected feeling from enlightenment. What does it really mean? How does it feel? How will I know I am enlightened? We often have been told that the state of being enlightened is outside of us. It is something we have to strive for to attain. Often a vision of the monk on the hill in a solitary state comes to mind. But this is just one expression of one enlightened individual. The state of enlightenment does not have to look the same for all. It is infinite.nnEnlightenment is a state of being, a state of infinite consciousness that knows, believes, and creates as everything and nothing ~ the consciousness of the infinite Light. In an enlightened state, a being is aware they are experiencing a physical realm, yet within that same physical realm there is literally ‘no thing.’ The enlightened being embraces the physical and non-physical realms as part of the same Oneness and equally feels the connection to all realms. The enlightened being is able to experience and embrace the paradox of life, creation, and existence. With this comes great peace – the peace beyond understanding. With this comes the ability to see the perfection of all things. With this comes a vibration of infinite love for all, which radiates from the heart and is literally seen and felt by others.nnEnlightenment is not outside of us. Enlightenment, at its very nature, IS US! We can never be separate from Enlightenment as we are creating as the infinite Divine in every moment. We are Light – Spirit – Energy – In Light, if you will. We are Love uniting through its magnetizing vibration the very creations that are experiences and expressions of enlightenment. We can embrace this easily if we simply accept that we are already enlightened and find the gratitude for all creation. “What is the gift?” Gratitude will lead you to the perspective of enlightenment. nnIt is only our mind through its limited perspectives and judgments that causes a perceived separation from the state of Enlightenment. When the mind awakens to its infinite connection with Spirit, merging as one, enlightenment is seen as the state of consciousness that has been you all along. The mind/ego/personality self awakens to the perfection of and unity with all things. The paradox is embraced and duality shifts into Oneness. nnEvery moment is a creation from Source, expressing through our Spirit as a celebration of the infinite love and light that we are. When we celebrate each moment, embracing the non-permanency of it and the infinite expression in the present “now” moment, we dance in the energies of enlightenment. We feel the love, peace and joy that we are. We hold the gratitude and trust in the unity of all things. We delight in the infinite abundance of the Universe. We embrace the transition and transmutation of energies from one creation to the next. We celebrate the freedom and liberty to express as the love and light that we are in this infinite experience creating in both the physical and non-physical realms. These are qualities of an enlightened state.nnWhen we release the hold of our clinched fist around one aspect or identity of our being, we awaken to and embrace the infinite aspects of our true self as Light, Love ~ Spirit. We realize that all along we are united with All That Is. We are everything and we are no-thing. We are the light of light.
