Tips for First Date

The first date is always the hardest. You never know what to do. Most people will choose the old stand-byes, dinner or a movie. Now, for me this is always a great idea. Below are some tips you should do on your first date: Have a nice conversation. Remember, to have a first date means knowing your date better. Therefore, it is very important to have a nice conversation with your date. Ice cream is perfect for sunny weather. You can buy your date an ice cream while walking in a part then have a romantic conversation at the beach. Never date in your apartment. For a first date, it is a very big turn off especially for a girl if you invite to go to your apartment. This can be very intimidating for both of you because you are still in the process of knowing each other. So as much as possible do something that is in public. Remember the goal of the first date. The goal of the first date is to get a second date. You want to find out that you have enough chemistry with another person to go out a second time. After all, no type of relationship can develop if you only see the person one time in your life and never again. Dress nice, but dress like you. You want to make a good first impression. However, don't try to be something you are not. Obviously you will want to dress appropriately for the type of event you attend. Pay close attention to personal grooming. You should be doing this normally, but it is especially important on a first date. Park – Parks are fun especially if you are athletic. Taking your date for a walk in the park gives you both lots of time to relax with each other and just talk. There are plenty of activities you can do in the park. Bring a Frisbee or rollerblades and just have fun. Billiards – Billiards is also an old stand-bye that is a lot of fun. It gives you both a great opportunity to just talk, get to know each other and is lots of fun. And, don’t be embarrassed if you are not good. No one is watching you both miss. They will just see a couple having fun, so by all means laugh and make the other tables jealous. A first date usually is not too long; it would be a couple of hours only. Thus both of you need to make the best out of the time you have in hand. You need to talk and share thoughts in order to know each other better. Therefore, select an appropriate hangout place. A coffee outlet, a restaurant or an open area could be good options. Do not opt to take your date for a movie, since you would not be able to talk there. But yes, if you have a good amount of time in hand, and are both movie buffs, you could always catch on a movie followed by a cup of coffee or may be a dinner/ lunch accordingly.
