Panic attack disorders can make your life very hard to live, and can even turn into social anxiety disorders like agoraphobia if they go untreated. In this article I would like to give you the top 3 panic attack disorder mistakes that people make, and how to avoid them. To start with, if you are not familiar with what a panic attack is, let me fill you in. Panic attacks occur when we perceive a situation to be dangerous or threatening, even when there is no real threat. Panic attacks come on initially because of the way we talk to ourselves. Our internal dialogue is very powerful, and we have the ability to scare our bodies into thinking that there is actually something to fear when in reality there is nothing to fear. The internal dialogue that we feed ourselves can determine whether we put ourselves into a panic attack. Our minds don't know the difference between what's real or what's imagined, so if you simply feed your mind with calming and rational thoughts then you will solve most of you problems immediately. Now, panic attack disorders are difficult to overcome unless you have a step by step plan in place. Why? It's because of the universal truth that says "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail." I truly believe there are many people suffering from panic attacks that don't have to suffer. So, with that said I would like to show you the top 3 mistakes panic attack disorder sufferers make. Mistake #1: Allowing your negative thoughts to spiral out of control. Your negative thoughts will control you if you let them. What do you do? You stop focusing on your negative thoughts. Don't entertain your negative thoughts because they will lead to more panic attacks. Mistake #2: Fighting your panic attacks. Never try to put up resistance against your panic attacks. By doing so you will intensify the effects of your panic attacks. Mistake #3: Running from your panic attacks. Never run away from your panic attack symptoms. What you need to start doing is facing your fears head on. By doing this you will send a clear message to yourself that you are the one in control, and not the other way around. If you are really serious about stopping your panic attacks you must be willing to do whatever it takes. It's only as difficult as you make it, so make a commitment to yourself right now that you will take action. Life is short, and it's definitely too short to live with panic attacks. Take action now, and eliminate your panic attacks so you can live your dreams. You might want to own your own business, travel, have great relationships, etc. Whatever your dream is, it's possible if you simply take the steps to eliminate your panic attacks.
