Any one with a bulged out abdomen looks repulsive. He misses much of his self-confidence as his appearance affects strength of personality to a great extent. It is natural that he would try to lose his extra weight. Extra weight affects his health, and it can be serious if he is a patient of hypertension or cardiac ailment. On the other hand, there are men and women who do not have proper knowledge about the measures which they should take to shred extra fat from their body. It is imperative to accept that there is no shortcut to achieve the target of losing weight. The concerned person must have patience, and he must lead a disciplined life. Actually, weight loss measures are linked with lifestyle of the person. Food plays the most important part in gaining or losing weight of a body. An obese person may consider reducing his food intake with such expectation that he will lose some weight. There are three possibilities as its aftermath. He may not get the expected result. Shortage of food needed for sound metabolism of his body will lower his energy level and he may become sick. He may also shred his extra weight. The third one is possible if required conditions are fulfilled. He may or may not possess its knowledge. Hence, it is a must that he takes advices from an expert physician who will prepare a food chart specifically for him after studying his present weight and other physical conditions. He must be sincere in following his physician. He must learn how much water he should drink daily. Physical exercises are of great significance. Proper guidance is also required in this sphere. The guide will decide whether the exercises will be limited to free hands or whether joining a gym is necessary. Regularity in physical exercises is of course a must. Another important thing is that the concerned person must prepare a chart to note what food he has been taking and how much time he has been sparing for physical exercises. The chart must include his present weight and changes in the weight in every week. He can decide to lose half of a pound of his weight in every week. He must meet his physician at the end of each month with the records included in the chart and seek his advice for further steps. He must believe that it is possible to lose weight and that he can do it. He cannot secure the desired result if he is mentally weak or if he does not live a disciplined life.
