Arthritis is a form of joint disorder that forms one or more joints. There are about 100 different types of arthritis, the most common form is osteoarthritis, is a result of trauma of a joint, infection of a joint and age. Other arthritis forms are rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and related autoimmune diseases. Septic arthritis is caused by joint infection. The major complaints by the individual who have arthritis is joint pain. The pain is often constant and unbearable and may be localized to the joint affected. The pain from arthritis is due to inflammation that occurs around the joint, damage to the joint from disease, daily wear and tear of joint, muscle strains caused by forceful movements against stiff, painful joints and fatigue.
There are several diseases where joint pain is primary and is considered the main feature. When a person has arthritis it assumed that he/she will have any such disease.

Arthritis includes varied level of pain swelling, joint, stiffness and sometimes the constant ache around the joint. Regardless of the type of arthritis the common symptoms for all level of arthritis include varied level of joint pain. Arthritic disorder like lupus and rheumatoid can also affect the organ of the body with various symptoms;

There are several types of medications that are used for the treatment of arthritis. Treatment typically begins with the medicines which have least side effects and further medications are added if are insufficiently affective.
Many drugs are used to cure inflammation and pain associated with arthritis. Aspirin and nonsteroidal anti- inflammatory drugs such as such as ibuprofen (Motrin, and others), naproxen (Naprosyn, and others) and dicolfenac (Voltaren), have immediate analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects and are relatively safe. Second line of drug used to cure arthritis include hydroxychloroqiune, gold, penicilliamine, azathioprine, sulfasalazine and methotrexate. The3se agents may control symptoms and possibly control the progression of disease but many of them can cause severe adverse effect and diminish the effectiveness over time. Aspirin is as effective as any other NSAID and much less expensive, but some patient cannot tolerate the gastrointestinal toxicity. Aspirin interferes with the platelet function and can rarely cause serious bleeding; this effect can persist for four to seven days after the drug has been discontinued.
In general, it has been found that physical exercise for the joint have noticeable improvement in terms of long term relief. Furthermore, exercise of the joint pain is encouraged the health of the particular joint and the overall body of the person. Physical exercise has always been beneficial for any kind of treatment. Individuals with arthritis can be beneficial from both physical and occupational therapy. In arthritis joint become stiff and the range of movement can be limited. Physical therapy has been proved to decrease the chances of surgical intervention in advanced cases. Exercise prescribed by a physical therapist has been shown to be more effective than medications in treating osteoarthritis of the knee. Exercise often focuses on improving muscle strength, endurance and flexibility. In some cases, exercises may be designed to train balance. Occupational therapy can provide assistance with activities as well as equipment.
