What is the Law of Attraction really? These days, most people have at least heard of the Law of Attraction. For many, their first introduction to LOA came about due to the phenomenal popularity of The Secret in 2006. There was so much buzz about this topic at the time that many long-time personal development gurus jumped on the LOA bandwagon, as if they had been there all along. The next mass wave came a couple years after The Secret when Oprah dedicated two shows to the Law of Attraction. Along with extraordinary interest in this topic, came great misunderstanding. In fact, many of those who watched The Secret wrote off the Law of Attraction as materialistic and shallow. If asked to define the Law of Attraction, the majority of people might call up the familiar “like attracts like” definition. Others might say it’s about attracting what you think about or they might cite phrases such as “what you focus on expands” or “thoughts become things” – that sort of thing. As Abraham-Hicks explains, the Law of Attraction is so much more than most people realize. The Law of Attraction is really about understanding and accepting (remembering) Who You Really Are and then doing your best to BE Who You Really Are. It’s about aligning your physical self with your non-physical self and living as a Blended Being. Being Who You Really Are is about connecting with Source / God / your Inner Being and receiving guidance, intuition, and inspiration in every moment while at the same time enjoying all aspects of physical life experience. It truly is the best of both worlds. Successfully applying the Law of Attraction REQUIRES a deep connection to Source and, thus, is the exact opposite of materialistic and shallow. Try this. Find something to be happy about, focus on it and be happy. Then find something else to be happy about, focus on that and be happy. As you continue with this simple process, you will release resistance, raise your vibration and reconnect with Who You Really Are. The key to successfully applying the Law of Attraction is to connect with Source and be Who You Really Are. Connecting with Source and being Who You Really Are is also the path to all the joy, all the love – and yes – all the stuff you could ever desire.
