Gone are the days of big Hamams ( community baths), people still love to rejoice in a swimming pool but bath, more or less has become a very private thing. People like taking it fast, almost as a part of the routine they have to undergo to keep clean and fresh themselves. Others take it to pamper themselves. They presume that it is their rite to wash of the rigors of the day in a way which calms them and also creates a sense of warmth inside. Since the invention of showerheads, a bath cubicle has covered lots of ground. Presently the markets even cater to a complete shower panel full of all possible means to luxuriate while in a bath cubicle.nnOne issue which has been identified as a great reason for their worries is the impurity of water contents. It causes itching and burning sensation on the skin while taking bath. Thus it chiefly recommended getting the water dechlorinated. The chlorine attaches itself to the filter body and filter cartridges and make the water dripping down our body polluted. Dechlorination measures should be ideally fully organic and environmentally safe. They should further meet the requirements of the US EPA’s Clean water Act. It is also paramount for the dechlorinator to completely eliminate chlorine and chloramines.nnLet’s first understand how chlorine pollutes our bath. Chlorine has poisonous effects on deadly germs. If it can be toxic enough to kill germs, it is venomous enough to harm users as well. Sometimes while in a bath we tend to inhale steamy water vapor which spreads out of the chlorinated showerhead. It also creates burning sensation. A finding suggests that we intake chlorine nearly 6 to 100 times over the advisable levels.nnPresently vitamin C therapy is also used to counter chlorination of water. Vitamin helps to neutralize chlorine thus rendering it ineffective. 1 gm of vitamin is enough to neutralize 1 ppm (parts per million) of chlorine present in 1 gallon of water. Apart from clearly neutralizing the chlorine and chloramines, vitamins also give needed nutrients to hair and skin.nnA product recently to have hit the market is Vitabath Effervescent Vitamin C Dechlorination Tablets. 250 gms vitamins is present in each vita shower cartridge. It uses the precepts of ascorbic acid for dechlorination. US EPA has certified the usage of vitamins as agents of dechlorination. Vitamin C in particular has been used prior in medical science for Dialysis, where each drop of toxic substance or chlorine can be a death sentence to a patient.nnVitabath Effervescent dissolves in the water and causes the vitamin C to fizz. It contains Ascorbic acid, Sorbitol, Sodium Bicarbomatre and Citric Acid. It releases just adequate amount of vitamin required to chlorinate water passing through the system. The VitaBath works at any temperature and pressure.n
