If you have not registered with Facebook, I encourage you to do so, for the easy reason it is a very powerful source of traffic to your site. When you sign up, you will make a profile. Once the profile has been thoroughly filled in, you can begin “friending” other users and send them private and public messages. rnYou will find that Facebook’s user profile is more pronounced, than Twitter. You can add more stuff. The biggest thing for Facebook has been privacy and security. Facebook’s greatest concern is making sure what you share on their site can remain hidden from users you do not want to see it. So Facebook has taken many and great strides to keep security tight. They have established rules to change the way security is implemented. It makes for a safe and clean networking environment. rnOnce you have registered and posted your profile, you can join groups, networks, and create pages in order to advertise yourself or your organization. rnI recall hearing a friend of mine tell me he signed up to use Facebook, filled out his profile, and included the site with his product. About a month later he saw the sales of his product took off drastically. rnNo matter who you are, if you have a product or service you offer, and have created a webpage for it, you can get prospective customers to your webpage. And the more traffic you get, the better the chance of your customers buying your product or service. rnIt is a matter of knowing what and how to do it. This is the greatest obstacle to get around. There have been many people, who went against the odds or the negativity of what people said, started a website, placed a product or service on there, and went about using social networking, especially Facebook to market. They ended up making millions, even billions of dollars for their efforts. rnThere are many cases of people who started businesses and used Facebook to make tons of money with their product or service. If you do not have a product or service of your own, you can still make tons of money. Simply promote someone else’s product or service. Point everything to the owner’s website instead of your own. You may have to create a code to get credit for the sale. Ask the supplier for assistance with this. They should be able to help you with coding. Or they may simply give you a link or photo to use.
