Having self confidence will make you feel good inside and this is a plus. When you feel good inside this will show on the outside. Men will see this and notice you from a far.nnTo become self confident you must work on yourself. For example if you have friends that always criticize you and make you feel inferior to them or anyone else, get some new friends if you have a boyfriend/husband that always makes you feel bad about yourself, get a new boyfriend/husband or look into counceling. When I speak with teenage girls I'm always trying to inspire them to seek the things that they enjoy and are good at doing, then to learn to turn this into a career. If you enjoy what you do for a living it will come so easy to be independent.. nnAn emotionally healthy man does not want to feel responsible for a woman's life. A woman should be responsible for her own life; this makes her much more attractive and You become a challenge to a man, he will want to know more about you. He will become intrigued with you.nnBeing independent gives you the freedom to walk away from a bad relationship. I know women who are very unhappy as well as the man and because she does not have a job and her own money, she is afraid to give up the security that she has. He feels guilty to walk away because she depends on him for her security. Do you see where I am going with this! It is hard enough to leave a relationship when you have this independence, but it is much harder when there is so much dependence involved. Just remember if you can take care of yourself you will survive a break up. The man tends to work hard if she is independent because he knows if he takes her for granted she can and will walk away. Being independent will give you a better chance at finding that very special man.nnIndependence is also having the freedom to do the things that you want to do for yourself, maybe that might be crafts, pursuing a new job, going back to school, independence is a gift we give ourselves. nnWhen women decide to give up their independence temporarily, to stay home and raise their children until they reach a certain age, this is not a bad thing. As a woman this is a choice that she makes and knows that she will get the independence back. Her husband knows this, he respects her decision and his respect will most likely grow, simply because he knows the sacrifice she is giving to raise there children. nnnSimply put!
