With aging, skin loses moisture and elasticity, which consequently causes skin to wrinkle. There are many possible ways to effectively deal with facial wrinkles. Still, most appropriate treatment is self-care with natural remedies and face masks, due to their great effect they have on our skin and health in general. Tiny wrinkles and lines can be removed by using lotions that contain natural alpha-hydroxyl acid (AHA), which is mainly found in milk, fruits and sugar cane. Acids remove dead cells from the surface of the skin and improve growth of collagen. Because AHA's sometimes irritate our skin, cream or lotion should first be applied only on the small surface. If there is no reaction until second day, you can freely use lotion or cream as a part of your wrinkle treatment. What can we do ourselves? 1. Start off by soaking soft and clean cloth in milk (it contains alpha-hydroxyl acid) and put it on your skin. Repeat this every few days on a regular basis. 2. Fresh gel from Aloe contains apple acid. Coat your skin with fresh gel, obtained from the leaf, which is cut at the root of the plant and torn in two halves. Tear gel away using spoon and apply it on the skin. This natural remedy is just as effective, if not even better, as anti aging wrinkles lotion you get in the store. 3. Papaya contains a lot of enzymes, which sooth the upper layer of the skin and help in treatment of facial wrinkles. Wash and peel papaya, then mix two spoons of it with one full spoon of dry oats flour. Apply this mixture on the skin and leave it on for about 10 minutes, then wash it away using piece of cloth. 4. Don't forget to apply moisturizing cream every morning after washing your face, as this will help to preserve moist in your skin and make it softer. 5. You can prepare facial mask from avocado, which helps to moisten the skin and it also contains a lot of vitami E - a strong antioxidant and great treatment for deep wrinkles. Preparation is very simple: just mash avocado and apply it on face, leave it on for 20 minutes, then remove it with clean and soft cloth. Doing this once per week may greatly lessen visibility of facial wrinkles. 6. Drink a lot of water. At least 64 to 84 ounces of pure water should be consumed every day. This will help to make your skin softer. One of the main causes for facial wrinkles to appear is the lack of moist in the skin. Also, use sunglasses to prevent formation of wrinkles around the eyes and lastly, don't smoke, because smoking greatly contributes to premature aging of your skin and appearance of wrinkles. 7. Eat a lot of organically grown fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts, which are rich in vitami A, C and E. All of the above are great antioxidants and effective in removal of harmful free radicals. You may as well apply vitami C directly on the surface of the skin with the help of anti-wrinkle cream that contains it. 8. Omega 3 fatty acids protect and nurture the skin. Great source of these is Linseed oil. Consume one spoon per day; you can add it to fruit juices or mix it with salad dressings.
