Why don't we look at abundance?nnOver at Dictionary.com, it's defined as "a great or plentiful amount". I believe that's an excellent launching point. I think you must begin to ask yourself, "What is it that I want prosperity in?". nnMost folks link this idea of being fulfilled to financial matters. While this is a vital area, all aspects of your life can give you a feeling of having "a great or plentiful amount". Which leads me to a thought.nnTo me, searching for prosperity in my life is a search for a feeling. Isn't there a sensation you get when you feel fulfilled? When you come to a new understanding in your spiritual life, you feel bountiful inside. You have a sense of fulfillment. You experience inner peace. When you maintain your financial matters correctly and everything is taken care of, you feel that inner fulfillment.nnIs that not how you experience these occurrences? It is for me. This is accurate when I take care of my health and I exercise. Or when I invest time to turn off the television and read in order to realize something new. I'm bettering my mind and I feel that abundance. I feel the stillness and peace inside myself. nnSo, to me, although the definition of abundance seems to speak of acquiring or obtaining something, it's not those objects that I want, it's that "feeling". nnDoes this resonate with you? Are you tired of feeling a little empty, a bit lost, a little out of touch with yourself and what makes you, you? If yes, I believe it's time you put the brakes on a bit and begin to go more within yourself to discover the answers. nnIt wasn't until I began to do this that I saw what was truly significant to me. When you search for life abundance and that feeling of inner peace, it helps you to cancel out everything the TV, magazines, movie stars or your family & friends have influenced you with since you started this journey called "life". nnYou realize how to filter all this information out and get to the essence of what makes you fulfilled. You begin to see who your true inner self is and what you need. nnDoes this mean that you'll solve all your "issues" overnight? Heck, no! nnBut inner peace moments come more often. More moments where you sense, "You know, my life is fulfilling in so many ways." And as time goes on, you experience more of these moments.nnBasically, I think that's what we're all here to do. You and I are here to find out how to figure ourselves out until we live a fulfilled life of inner peace. A life where we know deep within ourselves that we simply "fit" whatever life circumstances we've constructed for ourselves. nnIf the secret to you living a life of abundance is knowing yourself better, are you poised to start digging? Are you poised to encounter the issues within that restrain you from emotional, spiritual, financial or physical abundance?nnI believe it takes a little time, a little work (on yourself) to realize the "whole", abundant life you're searching for. We live in a "give it to me now" or "fix me now" universe. But you're distinct. What may be simple for you is difficult for other people and vice versa. nnOf course, some problems can be fixed right away by just resolving to change. But I recommend you be patient with yourself. Give yourself the time to permit change to come to you naturally. nnMany of your issues can be tracked back to the "fight" between the conscious and subconscious parts of yourself. You need to train your conscious mind to mellow out in order for you to become acquainted with the deeper "you". This deeper "self" will allow you to know your life purpose and authorize prosperity to flow into your life in all the important areas. nnInvest the time to look within, discover your purpose in life, and understand how much your mind either stops you from living a life of abundance or aids you in experiencing real inner peace.n
