You Have a Voice

We all have a story to tell. For some it may just be the story of the grasshopper jumping in the lawn. For some it may just be how one friend did something that made another friend laugh. But for others, those like me, we have a bigger story to tell.
Mine is that of abuse. Abuse comes in many forms. It can be sexual, it can be substance, it can be verbal, it can be physical....the list goes on and on. But when you have a story to tell that is compelling enough because it can make a difference in the life of someone else....then tell your story....YOU HAVE A VOICE.
I found my voice and now because I have realized it I tell my story. My story, as I said, is that of abuse. My story shows how one person from a very early age was abused and how that abuse taught her to live the life of a victim. It also shows how even after all the adversity she is strong enough to recognize the patterns of abuse and living the life of a victim only to turn herself into an amazing power house.
The thing is....when YOU are ready to share your story...you will find the same thing will happen to you....
