Colin Stafford

Colin Stafford has enjoyed a wide variety of careers and experiences in both the UK and the USA.

He is a UK-qualified accountant with more than 30 years experience inrnworking with blue chip companies, initially as a line manager in senior financial roles and more recently as a management consultant.

His consultancy focus was on business change projects, often arising from mergers, acquisitions, restructuring or information technology developments.

He began to invest in real estate in the late 1980s and bought his first Disney-area vacation home in 1999. He now lives in Florida and helps the clients of Perfect Florida Homes tornunderstand the financial and property management issues related tornholiday / vacation home ownership.

He has demonstrated his belief in the vacation home concept byrnpurchasing holiday homes himself: by 2008 he had invested individually or in partnership in more than twenty properties in short term rental communities / developments. Clients therefore benefit from the know-how of individuals with practical "hands on" experience of after-sales operations and enough confidence in the market to invest their own funds in Disney-area real estate.

Hernis especially keen to ensure that out-of-state buyers make investment descisions based on a full understanding of both the risks and rewards - he and his business partner are noted for advising potential clients to turn down a purchase if it is not in their best interests, even though that results in a short term loss in commission.
