DR YOO

Dr. David Yoo was born in Califo ia and moved to Omaha at the age of five. He graduated from Burke HS and attended the University of Nebraska where he majored in pre-medicine biology and minored in chemistry. After graduating from UNO he went on to earn his doctorate in chiropractic while concurrently earning numerous certifications mastering Traditional Chinese Medicine. He continued his advanced acupuncture training with the American Society of Acupuncture (ASA) and is also afellow and Diplomat status in Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.) with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (IAMA). Dr. Yoo attended Traditional Chinese Medical School at the Kansas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Wichita, KS and also served a two-year apprenticeship under Dr. Han Xiong, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Upon graduation in 1996, Dr. Yoo opened his first practice in Olathe, KS. He has since expanded and now practices in the Overland Park facility where he sees 20-30 patients daily. He holds the NASM certification in personal training and is certified in sports medicine, strength and conditioning as well. He has earned the distinction of being the best practitioner in his field and is widely known for his expertise and excellent results. He considers acupuncture/TCM not just his work, but his life's passion and he continues to study and practice daily. Dr. Yoo also lectures and holds seminars to students, doctors and patients in an effort to spread the word about the incredible benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Kim Yoo (Dr. Kim) is a native of Kansas City. She grew up in Drexel, MO, a small town 20 minutes south of Kansas City and moved to KC after graduating high school. She received her associates degree from Johnson County Community College, attended UMKC for one year, completing her degree and earning her doctorate at Cleveland Chiropractic College. She holds many certificates in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine including Five Element Acupuncture, TCM, Meridian Therapy, Facial Rejuvenation and Cosmetic, Scalp Acupuncture, Fertility and Hormonal Issues, Weight Control and more. She has been studying TCM for nearly 12 years and practicing for nine. Dr. Kim has extensive training in women's hormonal issues including menopause, peri-menopause and menstrual irregularities/imbalance. She also holds extensive certifications in facial acupuncture.
