Ladonna Massar Quick Facts
Professional:
I am a healthcare professional Nationally Certified
in Massage Therapy and Bodywork (NCMTB), a Licensed Massage Practitioner (LMP)
in Washington State, and an American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Member.
I graduated from Ashmead College in Fife, Washington in November of 2006 and,
in addition to taking periodic continued education courses, I practice
therapeutic massage in the Port Orchard, Washington area. I incorporater
Swedish, Deep Tissue, Treatment, Hot Stone Massage & Pre- & Perinatal Massage Therapy techniques asrnappropriate to meet the unique needs of all of my individual clients. Myrnmain goal is to concentrate on the health and wellbeing of each and every
client individually. I believe in educating my clients on their own
bodies and how they can increase their body's awareness thru breathing and self
care techniques so they can increase their energy and health.
Part of my inspiration to become a Licensed Massage Therapist came when I was
injured at work in July 2000 and again in a car accident four months later.
I had strained tendons and muscles in my neck and back. I would
persistently experience pain and discomfort from my injuries. Later, I attended
massage school, where I received massages and chiropractic care on a regular
basis. Now, I have very few problems.
My inspiration also came from my neighbor (also a licensed LMP) whom I now work
with. She opened me up to the idea of being my own boss and making a difference
for people in the world. I have since opened my business working along
side Tamara Burt LMP and Dr Neil Aguilo DC, at P3 Chiropractic & Massage inr
February of 2007.
