Whatever that drives you to live a better life then you need to notch up your skills and buff up your resume. rnClearly, polishing your resume alone won't guarantee getting that dream job, even though you'll hire a professional resume writer but an excellent resume can get you that interview. It can stick out and give you better chance. That is a big difference considering it's a tough market now a days. And it sets the mind of the hiring manager that you are an asset. Just make sure you'll nail that interview. These tips will make a big difference and get you that interview. 10 tips that make your resume a success 1. Collect all your related materials Get all the details, dates, and years for previous experiences and studies. For your descriptions, make sure you use specific figures. Stay away from vague and general statements. 2. Format Search for possible format that would best fit your style. Keep in mind that it has to be professional and clean, this means that no colors or fancy add on. It has to be easy to skim since most hiring managers will do a quick scan. 3. Outline These get you organized and not miss the essentials. Each resume template should be related to the vacant position and should not sound generic. 4. Company's profile Do a lot of digging so that you'll have a hint of what kind of candidate they are looking. Plus, a company will know that you're interested and that's a big point too. Think why they should hire you? You should be an asset not a liability. Company will not hire anyone if they cost too much than what they are earning. 5. Plan Think how you'll be if the company will hire you, what skills you can offer, and what kind of personality you'll be. Stays away from objectives instead have a great summary of your asset and personality. This is very important it will be your sales pitch whether the hiring manager would check your resume further. Stay away from “I” and “me” pronoun since this will make you sound pretentious. Instead think that you are describing yourself as your friend would describe you. Carefully describe your personality.
