Pounds not shifting as fast as you would like? Here are fab-weight-loss-program.com weight loss tips for stress free slimming success.
1. Make good choices.
Stop counting calories. Choose satisfying low fat food such as fruit, vegetables, potatoes, eggs, pulses, poultry, fish, lean meat, also fat free dairy products.
2. Keep a food journal.
This will help you to stay on track, you will eat less because research shows that people who note down what they eat automatically eat less, simply because you become aware of what is actually going in your mouth.
3. Get organised.
Make sure you have a meal plan for the week and you have all what you need in your cupboards and fridge. If you crave sweets, chocolate or crisps when you are watching TV in the evenings, make sure you have a bowl of grapes and a handful of nuts ready.
4. Take one step at a time.
Don't go on a crash diet, take it slowly, cut down on the portions you eat, and then start making swaps for healthier foods. Build up to exercising for longer. Start with ten minutes twice a day until it becomes easier. It's also good to start with walking for weight loss. Get outside and get some fresh air.
5. Drink healthy.
Drinking freshly squeezed juice is great for weight loss, but try to keep it to a maximum of two glasses a day, as fruit contains natural sugar. Have 6 to 8 glass of water a day to keep you hydrated.
6. Beat emotional eating.
If you're the sort of person who reaches for the chocolate after a stressful day at work, learning to spot those moments will help you prevent them. Arrange to meet with a friend at a salad bar, talk over your stressful day there.
7. Remember to treat yourself.
You can have a treat day, or you can have the occasional treat, this will stop binging and therefore make it easy for you to maintain your weight loss plan.
8. Add spice
Use Spice and herbs for taste, garlic adds great flavour. Balsamic vinegar has a great taste too, sprinkled over salads adds zest but no calories.
9. Include the family.
Get the kids out walking with you, notice all the things you miss seeing when driving. Have a laugh and fun conversation, before you know you've walked a mile. Then two miles by the time you get back home.
10. Fruits.
Eat fruits like apples, bananas pears and oranges all these will help to satisfy cravings.
11. Don’t food shop when hungry.
Because the first thing you'll want is something quick and easy to eat. A bag of crisps, bar of chocolate, doughnuts, anything quick that will satisfy your hunger.
12. Shop online.
All of the big supermarkets these days will allow you to do your weekly shop online. This way you can order exactly want you want without having to resist the sweets and chocolates next to the tills.
