Doing headstands daily as a yoga pose is very important for great health. Here are a few reason why headstands keeps a person healthy and young. This requires no herbs, no supplements, and no medications… it’s very simple.

Preventing Edema - If a person has varicose veins or edematous fluid accumulating in their legs, doing a head stand for 10 minutes daily can move the accumulated fluids from the lower extremities to the rest of the body.

Prevent Strokes - Doing headstands also helps to prevent strokes and creates more flexibility in the vascular system.

Less Back Pain - Reverse gravity on the back, we stand all day with gravity pulling down in one directions. But when we do headstands we reverse that trend and our back feels better.

Cheap Facelift - Headstands also move more blood to our face thus we have less lines and wrinkles and we look great. We also move more O2 into our facial area and allow toxins to be flushed out… thus helping to detox our upper body.

Helps with Stress - Doing headstands also help with the rigors of everyday life. If a person has ever done a headstand they will know it takes concentration and thus the mind can’t flit from one thought to the other. And that means the monkey mind starts to slow down just a little.

Creates Upper Body Strength - Headstands also cultivate upper body strength, building strong arms, shoulders, and it also tightening our tummy.

Better Sex Life - Headstands also send blood to the pituitary gland in our head which helps to regulate hormones for better sex. And with headstands we feel better and thus our sex life is enhanced.

Less Depression - And headstands also help move more blood to the brain thus helping to prevent depression. And some people feel headstands increase the amount of positive thoughts we have. And headstands also helps stimulate the production dopamine, melatonin, and serotonin in the brain thus we feel better.
Improves Digestion - Standing on our head allows trapped gas to be released, increases peristalsis, and helps cleans the colon, and headstands increase blood flow to vital organs.

Great for the Lymphatic System - We have extra cellular fluid that moves around our cells and which helps to remove toxins. And standing on our head helps lymphatic fluid to move around the whole body… thus detoxing our body at a much faster rate.

Good for the Adrenal Glands - Headstands also put pressure on the adrenal glands, thus helping to get rid of stress hormones accumulated in the adrenals and thus helping with stress.

Better Focus - And people who do headstands daily seem to focus better and worry less.

Prevent Macular Degeneration - Doing headstands daily also helps to move more blood and oxygen to the eyes, thus helps to prevent macular degeneration and other eye diseases.

Migraines and Headaches - Also doing headstands prevents headaches and migraines by contracting and expanding blood vessels thus making them more resilient to stress.

Create More Red Blood Cells - And some feel that headstands can also increase the production of red blood cells thus helping with anemia.

Better Memory - Moving more blood to the brain can improve short and long term memory.

Helps Diabetes - Headstands bring more blood to the pituitary thus helping to regulate insulin production.

More Vital Energy - Headstands also help the master gland (pituitary) to balance hormones thus creating more vital energy.
