There are some career options which are highly popular amongst the youth. Some of them are the banking sector, IAS and MBA. One of the major reasons that make these career choices highly preferable is their acceptance of candidates from any academic field. Entry into these fields is solely based on your performance in the entrance exam put forward by them to test your knowledge. For example, there is the CWE by IBPS for entry into the banking sector, clearing the IAS exam is required to become an IAS officer and for any MBA aspirant, clearing the CMAT exam is a major pre-requisite. It is your performance in these competitive exams that will lead you to these coveted career fields and secure your future. CWE Exam: *The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has introduced the common written exam which will aims at large scale recruitment for the posts of bank po and bank clerk. *Aspiring candidates for Bank PO and Clerical posts often complained of lack of seats. IBPS has introduced the CWE to solve this problem by providing a large opportunity. *However, IBPS does not wish to compromise on quality. The exam will be highly challenging and competition will be much tougher due to higher number of candidates. *The dates for the CWE by IBPS for the year 2012 have already been announced. Candidates who wish to apply must refer to the official website of IBPS for further details. CMAT Exam: *Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a new opportunity provided to MBA aspirants. It is a national level test conducted by AICTE for entry into highly renowned management schools of India. #*The CMAT in the year 2012 is expected to be administered to about 250,000 candidates all over India and abroad. #*It is a computer based test which will be conducted online and allow entry of only those candidates who have a graduation degree with minimum 50%. #*There are many colleges that will accept CMAT score like Academy of Management, C.V Raman College of Engineering, A.J Institute of Management etc. IAS Exam: #*UPSC conducts the Indian Administrative Exam (IAS) for entry into the civil services. It is a highly challenging exam that requires thorough preparation. #*Current affairs are the lifeline of IAS exams. A person lacking a sound general knowledge cannot clear this exam. Reading of newspaper on a daily basis is required. #*IAS exam is divided into IAS prelims and IAS mains. It is essential to clear all the two exams to reach the interview round. Scores for IAS prelims will not be added in the final score. #*CSAT has been added in the IAS prelims syllabus, in replacement of the optional subject. CSAT is a common exam which will consist of speed test and power test. Make sure you prepare well for all these entrance exams. Be it IAS exam or CMAT or CWE, their focus is not on your earlier academic achievements. The major prerequisite is your performance in these exams which test all your areas of knowledge. If you score well here, you can be secure yourself a promising future.
