Superstars don’t just appear out of the thin air. There is a lot that goes behind making the next big thing in the world of football. For a superstar to be made, the player must first be found, and there are some coaches out there who have an eye for finding the best talent in the world. There are tons of footballing talent out there in the world but, only a few of those talents live their dream of becoming a superstar. There are not many managers out there, who can handle the responsibility of managing a club, its players the backroom staff and the media while also having a keen eye for talent. Scouting a player is a very difficult task. It involves weeks or even months of observation of a potential talent. Sometimes even professional scouts can get it wrong when it comes to say, picking the next Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. There are three such managers out there who are outstanding at scouting real world class talents. Let’s take a look at three such managers who have mastered the art of scouting football stars. Sir Alex Ferguson History might know Alex Ferguson for his tremendous success as a manager having won multiple European and domestic titles with Manchester United but, the Scotsman has always been a brilliant judge of talent. During his reign as the manager of the Red Devils, Ferguson picked out some of the best footballers the world has ever seen which include the likes of David de Gea, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and of course, the living legend, Cristiano Ronaldo. Arsene Wenger The Arsenal football club manager is undoubtedly one of the finest coaches the game has ever seen. The Frenchman has enjoyed tremendous success over the past two decades while also scouting the best football talents in the world. From the likes of Patrick Vieira and Mikael Silvestre to Thierry Henry, Wenger has given the world of football plenty reason to cheer. In fact, Wenger had even scouted Lionel Messi when he was only a boy but could not manage to sign him, for reasons only known to him. Jurgen Klopp The current Liverpool FC manager is especially known for developing young and also scouting them. The German manager is probably one of the best in the business when it comes to spotting world class footballers. During his time at Borussia Dortmund, Klopp had picked out the likes of Mario Gotze who won Germany the FIFA World Cup in 2014, along with Robert Lewandowski, who is now one of the deadliest strikers in the world along with many other players like Marco Reus, Mats Hummels and many more.
