“3 Pepper Chinese Moringa Rice Recipe”
Here is a wonderful recipe that will make lunch or dinner very enjoyable. This vegan recipe is easy and fast to make and it’s packed full of powerful nutrients to keep us healthy. This rice tastes like Chinese fried rice without all the added oil, and with all great raw veggies that are full of live enzymes to power our bodies.
Ingredients:
4 - Cups of cooked organic brown rice
12 - Organic green onions chopped
1 - Large organic red bell pepper chopped
1 - Large organic yellow bell pepper chopped
1 - Large organic orange bell pepper chopped
4 - Large cloves of organic garlic minced
3 - Tablespoons of fresh or dried mooring leaves chopped
1 - Teaspoon of wasabi paste
1/2 - Teaspoon of garlic powder - adds a little more garlic flavor
1 - Teaspoon or a Tablespoon of fresh grated organic ginger— depends upon how much ginger you enjoy.
1 - Teaspoon of fresh organic lemon zest
2 - Tablespoons of organic low sodium soy sauce
Cook the brown rice as usual and I recommend putting it in the frig over night and uncovered so it drys out a little bit, then it becomes separate and makes a nice Chinese rice. Then add all the veggies and spices and mix well.
Then just before serving heat to under 116 degrees to make sure all the live enzymes are alive and well.
Moringa is full of great amino acids, vitamins, and minerals… and Moringa contains more that 4 times the amount of beta-carotene found in carrots, lots more Vitamin C than what you find in oranges. It also contains 2 to 3 times the amount of protein found in many dairy products. Full of calcium, and more than 7 times the potassium found in bananas. Moringa also has lots of zinc, which is great for boosting the immune system thus preventing colds. It balances your blood sugar and lowers your cholesterol too, and it boosts metabolism and stimulates your energy level… helping you to lose weight and getting you through your day.
Moringa is great for healthy looking skin and also for keeping your liver and kidneys healthy too. Plus Moringa is also antibacterial in action… and can be used to purify water. Moringa is a new modern miracle herb!
Brown Rice compared to white rice has a lot of health benefits. Brown Rice is full of Thiamine, Niacin, Pyridoxine, Vitamin K, Calcium, Iron, Phosphorus, and Potassium. Brown Rice is rich in fiber, controls blood sugar and cholesterol, and works wonders for ulcers and diarrhea. Plus if you are debilitated it’s very easy to digest and contains needed nutrients for your bones, muscles, nails, hair, and teeth. Soak your Brown Rice in water for 30 minutes prior to cooking and it will cook faster.
Ginger has the ability to fight inflammation, help with nausea, it’s a powerful antioxidant that helps to fight off free radicals thus slows the aging process. It also helps to lower blood pressure and heals the liver from damage from chemicals… which is vitally important in a toxic world. Also ginger works well for healing migraines and nausea and because it’s a great anti-inflammatory agent it helps to prevent cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer. And because ginger helps to lower blood sugar and stabilize blood sugar, it can also help to prevent diabetes. And diabetes is one of the biggest killers in the world right now. So adding slices of ginger to soups, stews, having ginger tea, and having that pickled ginger with sushi is great way to add a few more years to our lifespan.
Onions contain lots of polyphenols like that found in green tea, and thus help to stave off disease and help with cardiovascular health, prevent cancer, and also strokes. Onions also contain allium which is a powerful antioxidant that is also found in garlic, tomatoes, bell peppers, and leeks… but to a high degree so it is very important for staving off disease.
Onions contain quercetin which is a powerful flavonoid that helps to prevent disease. Most Onions contain around 100 mgs and that’s a lot considering that most other veggies have much lower amounts of quercetin. Quercetin is important for lowering our risk of colon cancer, oral cancers, ovarian cancer, and laryngeal cancer… and studies show that onions can stop tumor growth thus stopping cancer.
Remember to not peel away too much of the outer layers of the onion because lots of the vital nutrients are found in the first few moist layers of the onion… and eating at least 1/2 an onion everyday day is important for great health.
Onions also contain lots of Vitamin C for oxidative stress, Manganeses for a healthy nervous system, B Vitamins for boosting your immunity, Vitamin K for preventing clots that create heart attacks, tryptophan for relaxing and getting a good nights rest, molybdenum for proper enzyme function, fiber for colon health, and potassium for cardiovascular health and water regulation.
Onions also contain lots of sulfur compounds such as – Diallylmonsulfide, S-methly-L-cysteine sulfoxide, Diallyl Trisulfide, and much more… all of which are important for preventing cancer.
Onions are important for good bone density too… studies show that people who eating lots of onions throughout their lives and into old age have less osteoporosis. And Onions contain powerful anti-inflammatory agents that prevent the breakdown of fats into inflammatory agents… thus preventing aches, pains, and inflammation such as arthritis.
Enjoy this great tasting Chinese Rice.
