The Dreaded Abdominal Crunches Everyone hates the idea of doing sit ups and crunches as part of their weight loss exercises, but that’s because most people do them wrong. Unless you’re in peak physical condition, you shouldn’t need to do more than 20 crunches at a time before you really feel an intense burn in your core. First off when you contract to do a real crunch, your torso should remain straight and you should only bend at the waste. Many people place their hands behind their heads which places a strain on their necks. You should cross your arms across your chess and keep your back as straight as possible when you contract. When you relax, don’t allow your shoulders to go all the way to the floor. Stop before your abs relax all the way and start another crunch. By never relaxing all the way, you maximize the effectiveness of the exercise. You can also turn your legs to the left or the right with your knees still bent to work your love handles. It should take no more than 5 minutes a day, 5 days a week to get your abs and obliques worked out, well on your way to killer 6 pack abs. Eight Glasses a Day Keeps the Bulge Away You’ve heard it before, but are you doing it? There is absolutely nothing better you can put into your body than water. You’re naturally composed of about 3/4 water anyway so keeping yourself properly hydrated is a wise decision to aid in weight loss. Water also aids your body in the digestive process and it can rinse away harmful toxins that your body might have otherwise held on to. It’s also wise to heat the water until it’s about the temperature of coffee. The body has to burn calories in an effort to cool the water so this simple step can help to eliminate some fat without diet or exercise. People who don’t drink enough water are more likely to be obese so you should definitely drink at least 64 ounces of water a day. Drinking hot water before meals also makes you feel full so you’re less likely to over eat. Eat Dinner Earlier The reason many people gain weight is because they eat a big dinner right before they go to bed for the night. Maybe not a whole dinner but even snacking is becoming the norm today. Their meal just sits in their stomach and digests while they sleep, turning your 6 pack into fat. By eating dinner 3 hours before bedtime you can help to burn more fat. Your nightly activities such as brushing your teeth and taking a shower will help to burn many of the calories that you ate at dinner. Eating an early dinner also helps you sleep better because your body has burned off all the fuel instead of going to bed with a full tank. You also wake up hungry which makes you more likely to eat a big breakfast which you can burn off through your daily activities. Following these 3 simple steps won’t give you instant 6 pack abs but a lifestyle change that includes them could lead to a happier healthier sexy you, in less time than you might expect.
