When I reference practicing financial appreciation people occasionally look confused as if they are thinking “what is that?” Financial gratitude is feeling thankful for what you have and not thinking about what you do not have at the moment. Thinking mainly about what you do not have is gloomy but it is better feel grateful for you have now. For instance, supposed your loved one complained about the gifts they didn’t receive when you gave them a beautiful gift that you took your time picking out specifically for them. Do you think this will make them feel encouraged about buying you another gift next year? They might not try to get you anything else. This is a universal principle. Paying attention to what you did not receive is transmitting negative energy that impedes you from receiving good things. Speaking plainly in 2011, I opened my business and experienced some confronting times. When starting out as an entrepreneur, I did not have regular pay days, and I consistently contributed money to make money in my business and in myself. Even though, I have less money than when I started, my personal satisfaction has increased. I embrace the idea of paying attention to what I do have now daily. I have friends, colleagues and family that support me, and I enjoy my life. This is as good as it gets. If you are asking, "how do I exercise feeling financially appreciation specifically when I am experiencing stressful moments?" The following tips will guide you to practice financial gratitude.
  • Pay more attention to what you have more than what you do not have regularly: When do you recall complaining about something? I used to whine constantly. I was discontented about my employment and personal life so I grumbled to my friends who were also unhappy. We supported each other’s unhappiness, and I was resentful toward others that were happy. I acquired the skill to think more about what was working in my life and started decreasing criticizing my life. After a while, I felt a change and more good things began to happen to me. Make time to pinpoint the areas that are working well in your life. You can use this website for ideas, http://wwwacomplaintfreeworld.com
  • Write down what is working for you: Writing down what you like about your life, is a good reminder and you can review this list to lift you spirits when things feel rough.
  • Ask when you need help: Engaging in the first step on this list, will bring up things you feel you need or want, it’s a normal thought process. However, you can concentrate on one of the things you need and ask for assistance. Do not be frightened to ask for help. Women specifically can forget to ask for what they need. You will be astonished at how what you need comes to you and it will give you the feeling of gratitude.
These easy steps can strengthen gratitude in the financial area of your life. You can also ask or be of assistance to others. Perhaps activating all these steps will create an ongoing affect that increases the feeling of financial appreciation.
