Pregnancy is one of those miraculous phenomena that bring a new life to this earth. Since time immemorial a pregnant woman is revered and treated with utmost care. When a woman is 35 Weeks Pregnant she is at the pinnacle of pregnancy, ready to usher her baby out of the womb and into the world. A mere two weeks after this, she will be ready to have the baby and bring him or her into the beautiful world. When the woman is 35 weeks pregnant, her baby is approximately 2 kilograms and he or she is about 18.2 inches long from the top of the head to his or her heels. This is just the average height and weight; the baby may be heavier or higher depending on many other conditions. The baby is now gaining height and weight at a tremendous rate and is fast becoming ready to be born. The babies reflexes are also developing at a very past pace and as such even if the baby is born premature than the baby would be able to suckle and feed himself or herself. Since the baby is now growing, he or she now has partial space to move around and the only activity the baby indulges in is infrequent kicking. The mother in the other hand now has a really big tummy. Her stomach stretches to about six inches from her navel, giving her an appearance of a really heavyset woman. This is also a high time for the family to prepare for a nursery and also for hospital visits. As such, the mother should have all the things handy like that of baby wipes, sanitizers and napkins for welcoming the new baby home. As far as possible the home should be baby proofed to prevent any kind of mishaps. When the woman is 38 weeks pregnant, the baby has grown further. She is now about three and a half kilograms and has reached a height of about nineteen and a half inches. She has developed and is almost ready to be born. The baby has also managed to develop a firm grip and would be able to grasp items now. The organs of the baby are also very well developed by now and she can be easily welcomed to the world now. This is the time now to get pumped up and ready to welcome the new bundle of joy to the home. Since the baby’s arrival will leave the parents with no time to even chat, it is a very good time to prepare for the baby’s advent as well as catch up on a few romantic dates and reading. The new nursery should also be kept ready for the baby’s arrival.
