You can go about this in two ways - Either eat less calories, or eat normally but exercise more so that they are burned off.nnMany times we cannot have complete control of the calories we are taking in. So we have to rely to a large extent on healthy exercising if we want to stay slim.nnYou should exercise atleast 4-5 times a week and each session should comprise of atleast 30 minutes if you want a healthy permanent weight loss.nnExercising doesn't have to be too hard or boring. If you are able to find something you enjoy, then you are more likely to stick with it. It could be walking an hour with your friend, or any physical activity which you enjoy and which is sufficiently strenuous to exercise you. Do it consistently in order to enjoy permanent weight loss and staying slim.nnHealthy Weight Loss Strategy #2:nTrying to curb overeating is also a must if you want to enjoy staying slim for the rest of your life. nnThere are many reasons people overeat. It could be due to stress, depression, boredom, anger, loneliness and other emotion driven overeating. Or it could simply be due to old habit.nnFirst try to find out the reason behind your overeating. You should try to learn how to deal with the emotions without the aid of food or overeating. This is an essential skill for permanent weight loss.nnPeople who are good at addressing their emotions effectively without relying on food, would benefit more from weight loss programs and they may tend to slay slim and healthy in comparison to people who do not learn such skill.nnnHealthy Weight Loss Strategy #3:nIf you want to keep slim, then eat your food slowly. This might not seem related to weight loss in any manner, but it is!nnOur stomachs send signal to our brains that they are full only about 20 minutes or so after the stomach is filled. So fast eaters tend to overeat before they even realize that they had their full.nnMoreover chewing your food properly can improve digestion and prevent gas problems. It is advice-able to chew each morsel atleast 30-50 times before swallowing. If you chew so much then you will definitely eat slowly.
