Self confidence is not something you can buy, but it is something that can be achieved with the right strategy. Here we will discuss three such strategies you can begin implementing today to help boost your self confidence and shine in any situation.

1. Dress the Part

Believe it or not, what you wear, and how you wear it, can have a lot to do with how you feel, and that doesn’t mean you have to spend thousands on a new wardrobe. Just make the daily effort to dress smartly and take a long look at yourself in the mirror. When you look good, the image shining back at you will do wonders for your self confidence.

2. Say the Right Things…..to Yourself

If you want to boost self confidence you need to be careful about how you think and talk to yourself throughout the day. Avoid negative thoughts such as “I can’t” or “I’m not good enough,” because when you are thinking that way you will almost always act accordingly. Replace the negativity with positive, self-affirming words and your self confidence will follow suit.

3. Visualise Self Confidence

If you consistently view each situation you are faced with as an opportunity to succeed and shine, rather than stumble and fall, you will begin to believe it can happen in just the way you pictured it. Imagine yourself thriving in every opportunity, however difficult, and being the very best you that you can possibly be. Carry those visual images with you at all times and repeat the process daily to consistently boost self confidence. Remember, as the saying goes, “If you can see it, you can be it.”
Low self confidence is usually the result of a poor self image. You convince yourself that others are thinking poorly of you, or that you’re not good enough, when in reality they think no such thing. You are the only one pondering these images of inadequacy, and you are the only one who can turn them around. So if you want to boost self confidence, begin by implementing some of the simple strategies mentioned above. Try to feel good about yourself—you’re too important not to.
