Do you find yourself getting to bed later and later every night? Are your weekends filled with never-ending lists of chores? When your lifestyle is cramping your mood, then it may be time to get rid of the most stressful things. We talk about four things you can do to give yourself some room to breathe and have time to relax each day.

Get rid of toxic people and relationships

Sometimes, we feel like we have to be nice to everyone. We smile and nod, and we keep dealing with people who take and never give back. If you know someone in your life who is mean or drags you down, then it may be time to analyze the pros and cons of the relationship. No one deserves to feel bad because they are trying to be a good friend. Ending toxic relationships can go a long way in decluttering your emotional life from unnecessary baggage that isn’t yours to carry.

Rearrange your daily schedule to maximize free time

You can organize your routine into groups of things you have to do and those you want to do. To free up time, consider dropping the things that are the hardest to put on the want list. Anything at the bottom of the list may be things you do not want to keep doing. By breaking chores into manageable bites and grouping tasks, it may open up time for crafts, nurturing positive relationships, and downtime.

Clean out and organize digital files

After you find a way to dissociate from things and people who stress you out unnecessarily, then it is time to move onto computers, thumb drives, game consoles, cell phones, and other digital devices. Creating folders for similar files will make it easier to find important items. Deleting old bookmarks, photos, and downloaded items will free up disc space making your processor work better.

Learn the Marie Kondo organizational method to make housework more efficient

Do you have a bunch of stuff cluttering up your home? If so, then you may want to book a dumpster rental and get to tossing out some of your stress. With less clothing and things around your home, you will find daily cleaning takes less time. An organized and neat home makes it more comfortable. Marie Kondo uses an organizational method that helps people find bliss in everyday items. Her way of decluttering works for paper, clothes, and sentimental things.rnWhen you take the time to get rid of what you don’t need, you’ll find more time to cherish what you love. Whether your life is cluttered with emotional baggage, physical junk, or wasted time, by getting rid of insignificant items, we have more room for the people and things we cherish the most.
