No other attire is as versatile as a saree and all you need to do is pour in some creativity while draping it. Here below we have listed a few different ways in which you can drape a saree while getting ready for a party or a special occasion like wedding. 1.Ulta Pallo – This is the most common way of draping a saree and you would find most of the Indian women following it. The style is perfect for daily wear as it is convenient to carry. When you wear a saree with ulta pallo you can either leave it flowing free or form pleats and pin it up at the shoulder. Most of the working women are seen wearing pleated designer sarees only. 2.Sidha Pallo or Gujarati Style – This style of draping a saree is borrowed from Gujarat and thus the name Gujarati style. Since the pallo is in the front, it is also known as sidha pallo saree. It is true that Gujarati women wear saree day and night in this style only but in other parts of the country women are seen following this style on occasions like wedding and engagement saree. In case you have bought a saree with heavy stone work at the pallo, no other form than Gujarati style would flaunt it better. 3.Mumtaz Style– Mumtaz was a legendary actress in Bollywood and the actress used to wear saree in a peculiar manner. These days, the Mumtaz style is very much in trend and you can try it out if you a slim body structure. 4.Ghagra Style – Have you ever seen someone wearing a saree like a ghagra? This particular style is called ghagra style and it generally looks good on designer sarees from India. It gives an illusion that the lady is wearing a ghagra and thus serves two different purposes. 5.Tuck Style – This is very much similar to Gujarati style except that one end of the pallo is tied to the left shoulder.
