If you are a woman beyond the age of thirty-seven, you may be in the early stages, feeling the symptoms of Pre- Menopause, or was we Functional Diagnostic Nutritionists call it in the stage of “hormonal Influx”. If you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms you could very well be in Hormonal Influx. Fatigue, Mood Swings, short-term memory loss, depression, crying bouts or inability to sleep, and the list goes on and on. Here in this article you will find 5 simple ways to begin to bring your hormones back into balance and reset the hold of menopause.

The first way to begin to balance is to take a look at your diet. Begin by keeping a daily meal journal to begin to evaluate what needs to change. Do you have any junk food in your diet, or are there any trans-fats? Any vegetable or canola oils in your diet? If so, begin to replace these oils with cold-pressed organic olive oil. One of the benefits of cold-pressed organic olive oil is that the monounsaturated fats in it help lower LDL (aka bad) Cholesterol without affecting the HDL (good) levels.

The second way is to stop eating non-organic dairy foods- I always get a funny look from my clients when I suggest this, because immediately they say what about my calcium needs? Yes, I am talking about store bought milk, cottage cheese, ice cream, and sour cream, etc. Why? Because usually supermarket dairy products usually come from cows
that have been treated with BGH (Bovine Growth Hormone) and lots of antibiotics. And more importantly, you need to know that steroids and antibiotics reside inside that milk and interfere with the female and male hormonal systems. Organic dairy products usually come from small producers who are independent, and they produce additive-free dairy foods, so you can eat them very liberally without any harm.

The third way is to refrain from buying high processed vegetable oils and commercial salad dressings. Why? Because the chemicals they contain can disrupt the natural regulation and production of hormones. It throws off the clock of the bodies hormonal regulation system. Use organic sour cream and organic cold pressed extra-virgin olive oil for dressing your salads.

The fourth way is to cut out all white sugar that is found in fast and unnatural foods. I Usually use the rule of no more than 35 grams of sugar daily. Begin to read the labels sugar is found in many foods unnecessarily.

The fifth and most important way is to find an alte
ative therapist and nutritionist to help east the transition that your body is beginning to go through. Here is some Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist, here are some things I would look for: 1. Are they listed on the website of the training facility. 2. Do they have the credentials 3. Are they willing to give you a question and answer 10 min. phone call session free. Have they written articles and can you find them listed anywhere as experts. 4. Word of mouth and or reference.

These are the 5 simple ways to bring a women’s hormones back into balance.
