It is with this in mind that various remedies have been created. Various types of remedies are available when one is looking at how to get rid of pimples. Among the ways designed to help reduce acne and give a person clear skin free of any blemishes is through employing home remedies. One particular home remedy known to be useful for this purpose is steam. One is required to place heated water into a basin. With the water producing steam, they can then bend over the basin and cover themselves in such a way that all the steam rising from the basin is directed towards their face. This should be done over a period extending to around five minutes after which one is required to wash their face. This helps one to eliminate oil and dust that may have accumulated on the face and this helps in unblocking the pores thus getting rid of acne resulting in clear and healthy skin. Lemon juice is another remedy in the home setting that once can use if they are seeking to eliminate acne. This is done by applying the juice on the area that is covered by acne and letting it stay on the skin throughout the night. This helps since it drys the spots and blemishes after which one can wash up their face. This treatment gets rid of the oiliness while drying up the spots helping one develop a clear skin. Toothpaste is another very good remedy known to be useful for acne removal. It is placed on the spots and blemishes that are caused by the development of acne. It is then allowed to stay overnight after which it is washed by use of water upon waking up. Toothpaste dries up the acne and when this type of treatment is done repeatedly for an extensive period it can help reduce the oily nature of the skin thus eliminating acne. One can also use honey which is popular because of its medicinal aspects. When it is combined with cinnamon, honey comes in handy as a remedy for acne. The two ingredients are mixed so that they make a paste. The paste can then be placed over the bits on the face that are covered by acne and this is left to stay on through the night. The pimples are known to dry up. The dead skin can then be scrubbed off the face when one wakes up to get rid of dead skin. Due to the sticky nature of the honey, there are known cases where one experiences skin irritation but this is a small price to pay considering the end result. Tomatoes are also known to play a good role in getting rid of pimples. A tomato is split into two and then pressed over the area that has pimples through a rubbing motion. This is left to cover the face for a period of around twenty minutes before being rinsed off. This action has very positive effects on the skin in that it ends up opening up the pores and this is a step in the right direction as far as the fight against acne is concerned. Another good remedy is aloe vera which is available in the form of juice extracts bought over the counter. One can apply it two times a day to help cure scars whch result from acne. Another option one has at their disposal is for them to visit a dermatologist who can be able to check their skin and recommend acne products for their particular skin condition.
