You set your own pace in life and you set your own direction. Your career options are as wide and varied as you choose.

4) Work from home

This is one of the biggest benefits of being a freelancer. You can keep your business overheads down by working from home and even by charging your own business rent so that you may knock it off your tax bill.

5) Freedom to move around

If you are working from home, then you are also in a position to work from wherever you please. Thanks to the Internet, you can even move abroad and work from there.

The First Steps towards Freelancing

Find your niche, make your plan of action, and find your customer. You do not have to start with a big loan and a fresh new office space in your attic. You can start by finding your first customer and doing your work at the library. There are even people that have started their freelance careers on their mobile phones.
